Finding Neverland

To grow up never
To be whoever
To fly around
With no care.

A land so green
And things with sheen
With skies so azure
So much colour to glean.

I sit with my lovelies
Run and dive along gullies
Impish and carefree
May deserve some ear-curlies.

I never wanted to grow up,
Told my mother growing up.
Just people who are human
Hanging around cheering up.
