The Unfair fairness

It pains when I am right  nevertheless I am  I know you will leave because they always have One selfishness on my part  On highway you move out the exit the moment  I give you a pass I don't want to see the seethe  in your eyes they often roll down especially when one of us could partake of the mercy so unfound I am not a saint not even close just that fairness is my heart's desire Seeing you down that path  gives me an unwanted hope.  no one has won against the fire  burns and bruises has everyone suffered this won't be same because only one would be emerging from between those flames. I am happy I could do it on my own no help required no mercy plea with God a hurt of you temporary to save agony later what of me another truth in my ledger ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------                 ...

Two little fingers

Two little fingers who would've thought bear all the burden for all our lives interlaced together we promised aloud no volcano no quake could dent it at all I said change was bad and I was scared  what if I and the world fall out of place you said fall no matter where you would  we'll drop together you little poop! You said change is for the world to see but nothing could change the woolly me who ditches who disses who knocks down with no care in our hearts we will carry on We said in the duel with world if faced either will slaughter the world and emerge in its face may be jaded or confused and a wee bit burned we would have shown the power of our term Two little fingers how did we ever think they are fragile and would certainly chink. Must have been the high of day we did measure time on our fingertips .
